Experiencing More!

I'm baaaack! I kind of disappeared, but like I told y'all last Monday, I had a work trip last Thursday to Saturday! Getting things ready for my first trip away from Chloe took over most of my time last week. I wish I could say that leaving her was easier than I thought it would be, but honestly, it was rough! I had a great time and learned a lot about Kyani and myself. It was completely worth it, but man, I missed that baby!

I wanted to share a little bit about my trip. Some Kyani information, some Disney and some fun!

We arrived Thursday around 10:45am and hopped on the Disney Magical Express! Gotta love free transport from the airport to Disney! It's about a 30-45 minute ride depending on what stop your hotel is on the ride. Ours was first! #winning! We stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. This is the resort that also has a convention center hence the reason we were there! I stayed here back in 2013 for Disney Princess weekend when the race expo was moved to the convention center instead of Wide World of Sports. After getting settled and grabbing lunch, it was time for our first session, the Scientific Symposium. Learning about the science behind the products was very enlightening! I didn't realize some of the amazing ingredients that make up the Kyani products! Here are a few of the slides I snapped pictures of that I just had to share!

It's all about putting good things into our bodies! Kyani isn't a lose weight quick solution. Kyani is a get HEALTHY solution. I think that's why I love the products so much and want to share them with y'all! Everything in our products you could (should) eat in a well balanced diet, but we don't! Blueberries, raspberries, kale, broccoli, fish oil. Antioxidants, polyphenols, omega 3's, tocotrienols, anthocyanins, nitric oxide! This really is exciting stuff y'all.

In case you're wondering, we have 3 products: Sunrise, Sunset and Nitro (2 versions FX & Xtreme). Together they make up the Triangle of Health. You can take one or two, but taking all 3 together enhanced all the benefits! Check them out!

If you're interested in learning more, check out www.kyaniscience.com! Or just ask me!

After having our minds blown hearing about our products and the amazing testimonials from people who's lives changed after taking Kyani, we had our social event out on the Coronado Springs beach! Tons of food, a band, and karaoke, followed by a glass (or two!) of wine. It was fun meeting new people and even speaking with one of the company's founders!

Of course we went to bed too late and had to wake up too early for this momma's liking. So much for catching up on my sleep right?! It was all for a good reason though...we got awesome seats for our first session of the day!

Kyani Mommas waiting in line FIRST to get into our first session of the day!

Day 1 was all about the products, but Day 2 was all about learning about yourself. We talked about success and what success means to us. We looked into stepping out of our comfort zone. How far are we willing to go to achieve what we want? We discussed goal setting, helping others, being the best versions of ourselves.

The final session of the day wrapped up with our Keynote speaker, John Maxwell. For those of you who don't know who he is, John Maxwell is an author, pastor and motivational speaker that has written dozens of books on leadership. Hearing him speak about how true leaders lead a life of value and significance. Here was my greatest takeaway...

5 Things to Lead a Significant Life Every Day:
1. Value people.
2. Think of ways to add value to people's lives.
3. Look for ways to add value to people.
4. Do things that add value to people.
5. Encourage others to add value to people.

So I encourage y'all...add value to people! Make them feel worth while. Make other's lives better. In the end it will also make you better.

After our day ended, Julie came to pick me up for a fun bestie hang out! Where else would you hang out if you're spending time in Orlando? Disney World, duh! I knew this year was the best year to get an annual pass! We went over to Hollywood Studios and watched the new Star Wars fire works, ate dinner and rode the Rockin' Roller Coaster! I didn't get to ride rockin' last month because the line was so long plus it was just JP, Chloe and I, so it would have been hard. I was excited to ride and as you can see, I enjoyed it!

Afterwards, we decided to go to play some mini golf at Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf! It seemed like more fun then waiting in lines. Plus it was quieter and we could chat and hang out. I think the best part of this evening was that Julie and I could hang out like we would if we actually lived in the same city!

It was nice to get out of our hotel and hang out with Julie. You don't get amazing friends like that every day in life!

Again we went to bed later than planned, but we did sleep in an extra hour. Not exactly enough sleep, but I've been learning to survive on limited sleep the last 6 months.

Our last session was about finances. We listened to a Dave Ramsey speaker, Christy Wright, learned about taxes, and talked about how to build our business. Unfortunately, Kristin and I had to sneak out just a little early to catch our flight home. We were learning a lot and having fun, but it was time to see our babies!

Our group! Kristin, Amy, Ashley, Lisa, Dana

We took the Magical Express back to the airport and had a smooth and easy flight back home. We had to snap one last picture at the airport! Hello Houston! Watch out...here we come!

I love these products and I want to share them with the world. The best part is that I can! I would love to talk to anyone more about the products if you have any questions at all. I also have samples, so if you're truly interested, I'd love to share them with you! If you're looking for a change; a change in your health; a change in your wealth, let me know!

This Exciting Life We Live.

Every year I start off talking about how awesome this year is going to be. Some years end up awesome, while others are pretty rough. Then there are the years that have the highest highs and the lowest lows all at once. Last year was one of those for me. This year though, I'm pretty set on it being the highest of highs all year long. I know we're only 46 days into 2016, but so far it's been pretty exciting and I only see positivity ahead.

Speaking of exciting, exciting things really have been happening around here!

Thursday, I met up with two ladies that I went to middle & high school with and their beautiful baby girls. It's been 10 years since I've seen them and it is like no time has passed. Of course we have kept in touch via Facebook/Instagram, so we had an idea of what was going on in each other's lives. It's reasons like this that I am so thankful for social media! If it wasn't around, we wouldn't have reconnected. I'm excited to have two mommy friends with baby girls just months older than Chloe! I am blessed to get to watch these girls grow up together.

Friday, I cut off all my hair. Okay, not all of it, but 14 inches. It was getting very long and the time had come. This is the 3rd time I've chopped it off and donated. I was able to cut 12 inches to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths! I know that someone else can benefit from my hair more than I can. I hope that soon it will help a woman feel beautiful!

Saturday, we hosted game night for our friends! We have game night about every other month and this month was at our home. Because I love a good theme, I decided to theme our gathering "Te Amo en Mexico." Because why not? I wanted to make some delicious Mexican cuisine aka fajitas and sopapilla cheesecake and it was the day before Valentine's Day, so why not combine the two? The night was a great success! There were 10 of us here and it was a bit of a tight squeeze in our townhome, but it was a blast!

Sunday was Valentine's Day! I had to share some gorgeous shots I took of my tiniest Valentine! We spent the day relaxing around the house. I made pancakes for breakfast and JP cooked us mahi mahi and asparagus for dinner. I never left the house and it was pretty amazing.

Today is Monday. Yup. Monday. But I got to sleep in and hang out with my baby girl! Since my morning clients were all off for Presidents' Day and our babysitting Auntie Annie has an eye infection, I got to stay home. JP will come home for lunch while I head up to the gym to teach my classes tough! I'll still get my workout in!

This Thursday I'm going to be leaving my baby girl for the first time. I'm excited for the trip, nervous for leaving her and a little terrified all around. I know it will be good for both of us for different reasons. Last November I embarked on an exciting opportunity called Kyani! I haven't talked about it much on the blog, but I'm ready to step out of my box and put myself out there! Kyani is a health supplement that helps your body at the cellular level. I started taking it shortly after having Chloe and I have seen first hand how it can help change your health for the best! After reaping the benefits, I decided to become a distributor because I believe in the products that much. I'll share more about the company soon! This trip I'm taking is the Kyani International Leadership Conference in Orlando. I'm excited to meet the many people from my awesome team, Vision Group! I've interacted with them via phone and online, but finally we can connect face to face. I really hope this conference gives me the kick in the butt that I need to really put myself out there and make a difference in people's lives!

There you have it, so many exciting things and many more to come! I hope everyone has a wonderful Presidents' Day! Hopefully you have it off :) Until next time y'all!

My Forever Valentine

Happy Friday!!! I was prepped and ready to do an awesome Friday Five and share a recipe with y'all, but I couldn't. With Valentine's Day coming up this weekend, I had to do a post for the main man in my life, my husband! He's not always on the blog with Chloe in the forefront, but trust me y'all, he is always there.

I'm so blessed to have someone that is there to love and support Chloe, the dogs and me. He works hard so we can live this amazing life that we live. He gives it his all so I can stay home with Chloe as often as I want. He tries to be his best for us, and for that I am so thankful.

This is our 10th Valentine's Day together. TEN! Every year is different and we grow so much. We started as college love birds, became an engaged couple and by our 5th Valentine's Day together, we was officially my forever Valentine. I'm so lucky to have him as my forever in my life. I couldn't simply choose 5 pictures of us to make this a Friday 5. I couldn't even choose just 10 to represent us, but here's a glimpse back at my forever over the years.

My forever goofball.

My forever beach babe.

My forever sports wiz and stat machine.

My forever wedding date.

 My forever running buddy.

My forever travel companion.

My forever guitar hero.

My forever puppy and baby daddy.

My forever support system.

My last first kiss and my forever man.

Forever is a pretty long time. Forever means good days. Forever means bad days. Forever means happiness, anger, joy, frustration, elation and apathy. Forever means ups and downs. Forever means in goodness and in health. Forever means in sickness and in death. Forever means forever. Every day isn't beautiful and no one can expect that. At least I know that forever I'll have him. No matter what.

I love you my forever! Happy Valentine's Day, enjoy it with your forever, your right now, your best friends, your girl friends. Just enjoy it no matter who it's with!
