It's the final countdown!

I don't know about y'all, but I feel like November is already slipping through our fingers! Last Monday, I wrote about how fast November came and now we're already 11 days in. Practically half way there! Not only is November flying by, but fall itself {aka football season} is nearly over! I mean this past weekend was our very last home game of the year. 8 home games. 2 sets of 4 gameday weekends back to back is exhausting. Exhausting, but a total blast! Unfortunately, I didn't get to really experience the final game, but it all worked out...

Friday I successfully laid in bed all day. My meds made me nauseous and my cough made my body rock. I'm pretty sure I'll have a six pack of abs by the time I get rid of this cough. JP won the husband of the year award for (a) putting up with me, (b) making me take my medicine, and (c) ordering me to lay in bed all day, bringing me my laptop for blogging and breakfast in bed. Yup he's a winner and sorry ladies, he doesn't have any brothers. We did eventually head to College Station Friday evening where I continued to lay around and pick at food. Luckily Kristin came in town even though I was a sicky!

one. breakfast and blogging in bed
two. sad panda for being so sick
three. Maggie and Moose snuggle babies
four. Saturday breakfast and my first red cup of the season!

Saturday was cold and rainy, and this sick girl didn't need to be out tailgating anyways. I gave Kristin my ticket to the game and told her to go have a blast and told JP to take care of my bestie :) And of course I told him to take pictures so I can show my bloggy friends all the fun things I didn't get to do while I laid on the couch coughing my lungs out.

one. JP and Kristin! I asked them to take a pic together for me :)
two. Aggie band at halftime in their traditional block T
three. The infamous X that the band does on the final game of the season! Computer programs say that it's impossible, but out band is the best so they can do it!
four. JP's view from our friend's seats. He gave our good tickets to Kristin and Alison!
After the game everyone came home and the Gougler's had lots of people at the house for a post game party! I chatted with everyone while snuggling on the couch until bed called me at 9:45pm. I managed to pass out besides all the chatter and football on tv :)

Sunday I pulled myself together to go Bridesmaid dress hunting for Chandra's wedding! We weren't successful in finding a dress, but now we know what style we want and what color we're looking for. Baby steps. Plus I finally got to meet her sister and on of her other bridesmaids!

Even through football season is over, we still have plenty of exciting things to look forward to!
5 days until Randy and Kristin's wedding
9 days until Calgary
12 days until John and Kelsey's wedding
16 days until New York City
17 days until Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and Nikki's birthday
24 days until my baby brother turns 16
40 days until the 1st day of winter
44 days until Christmas!!!
51 days until 2014 begins

I don't know about y'all but 2014 feels like it's going to be a good one. I'm ready to be done with 2013 and put it behind me. But don't worry, I won't wish it away too quickly! I have a lot of exciting things to finish out 2013. Plus it's the most wonderful time of the year!

Do y'all have any big plans before 2013 ends?
Anyone else ready to put 2013 behind us and start anew?
