You win some, you lose some

Ah Monday, we meet again. I have no clients or classes to teach this morning, so I'm having a pretty smooth start to the week! Of course, I'd rather it still be the weekend. College Station weekends are always a blast!

Left column, top to bottom
Driving to C-Stat Thursday night after my evening clients!
two. Thursday evening froyo treat from Spoons on our way into town!
three. Friday morning 11 miler around campus
four. My tired puppy resisting sleep after a weekend of nonstop playing
Middle column
Tailgating is our favorite!
six. Aggie band at half time
Right column
Drowning our sorrows post game by tailgating even more!
eight. This guy. He's my favorite. Enough said.
So unfortunately, my beloved Ags lost on Saturday. It was a bit of a shock and quite the disappointment. We haven't lost often in the last few seasons, so we're a bit jaded. I forgot how losing kind of stings. But like they say, you win some, you lose some. Now we just need to pull through and win the rest! If our defense doesn't step it up, LSU will eat us alive. I guess we'll see what happens. On the plus side, my Packers won. The Texans lost...whomp whomp...again.

Anywho, I hope y'all have a wonderful start to your week! Can you believe it's almost November?!

Did your teams win or lose this weekend?

Sami's Shenanigans

  1. Go Packs! I was pretty happy about that! :)

  2. Sorry you had to sit through a loss! Watching a game where your team wins is the best. Go Sox!

  3. As a Cyclone fan, I'm rather used to winning. In fact, I think I've forgotten what winning feels like. :( But at least my Chiefs won. That almost balanced things out. You'll understand why I say almost if you know the score of the Baylor-ISU game.

  4. We were saying how y'all were going to kill us if we don't play better. Sat game was awful!! We just kept waiting for something to happen but it ever did. Poor tigers.

I love hearing from you, so leave a little note :)
