5 things that got me through this week {and a giveaway!}

Hello Friday, I love you. I'm so glad you're here and that I'm already done with work today. I was not ready to get up when my alarm was ringing in my ear, but as always, I feel great after teaching my class! Whew 8 classes taught in 6 days! Since I've been up a the gym a lot more this week and normal {no complaints here, just adjusting!}, here are a few things that have gotten me through the week.

two. My Lululemon jacket. Silly I know, but with cooler mornings come even colder mornings inside our tin box of a gym. I got this super cute jacket from Lulu this week with the birthday money my wonderful in-loves gave me! Thanks for my super cute new jacket Momma and Dad Gougler! :) But seriously, the gym is freezing in the mornings, so this is great for before and after I teach classes and while I'm training my clients. And it's maroon with hot love.

three. Foam Rolling. I am so, so sore. Yesterday, I taught two cycle classes and my Pilates class. My glutes and hamstrings were already burning from Powerflex Wednesday morning. Thank goodness I did some foam rolling on Wednesday and I plan to do it again today! Here are some foam rolling videos to get you started if you're interested. four. The Women's Health Big Book of Exercises. This book is awesome. There are tons of different exercises using various forms of equipment sorted by body part. Sometimes I need a little brain boost when thinking of exercises for my clients and especially my classes! This one is awesome. I bought it on Amazon if anyone is interested :)

five. My DVR. Yes, I went there. After getting up early, I need a break before heading back to the gym in the evening. Catching up on my shows gives me a chance to relax and I don't feel too bad about it! While everyone is working from 9-5, I'm working before and after that! Weird, but awesome. It pays to love what you do.

So that's what has helped me conquer my business week of training yet! I'm looking forward to more busy weeks ahead! Like I said, no complaints here, it just takes a little bit of getting used to.

  2. Gosh I want a foam roller. I tried someone's out recently and I LOVED it. Haha. Also, I definitely think the water would come in handy before play rehearsal when I need that burst of energy in the afternoon!

  4. I love my foam roller! I've been using it a lot this week. I really want to try this water. In the afternoons around 2 ish I start getting sleepy & want some caffeine but I don't want to go with Coke. The water would be perfect.
