Miscellany Monday: Cooking, Zoo, Wine, Sick

Today I am sick. Sick. Sick. Sick. I was sick yesterday too. Luckily yesterday's post was a scheduled post, so I didn't bring down all of the joy and happiness with just how terrible I felt. I'm linking up with lower case letters for Miscellany Monday since I just have a bunch of random thoughts and pictures to sum up this weekend and how I feel.

When I got home from work on Friday, I went for a solid 5 mile run and felt great. It was a gorgeous day, it was the start of the weekend and I had nothing to do, but run. Wish I felt that great all weekend!

After my run, I completely counteracted on all the hard work I had just done and made this:

Make at your own risk my friends! This is A-MAZ-ING. I don't lie. Mostly because I'm the worst liar ever. This stuff is delicious and addicting and will completely tear your diet apart. I literally just packed up the rest in a Tupperware and it's going to work with the hubs so I can eat anymore :)

Friday night ended with some phone tag with my friend Ashley, so I ended up curling up on the couch with a glass of wine and Harry Potter. <3 Harry

Saturday started off with a warm cup of coffee and a veggie-licious breakfast! I made an omelet for the hubs and an egg white veggie scramble for me!

After breakfast, we went to the zoo! It was part of our Valentine's date, so I'll share more pictures and stories about that tomorrow! To tide you over, here is a picture of the laziest animal ever.

You know you're comfy when you've got your arms chillin' back like that!

The zoo was followed by lunch at Ruggles Green, a pit stop at Home Goods to get the finishing touch to my downstairs guest bathroom {big reveal coming this week!} and a trip to Spec's to see what fun goodies they had to offer.

By Saturday afternoon, I knew that I was feeling kind of off, but I decided to push it aside. Maggie and I went on a 3 mile walk before it was time to get ready to go out for Courtney's birthday!

Here's an awesome view of downtown while Maggie and I were on our walk!
We started out with dinner and wine at Sonoma followed by drinks and dancing at Club Ei8ht! I had wine at dinner, but had only 2 drinks after that. I wasn't feeling well, so the hubs and I left early :(

Yesterday I slept for a majority of the day. I woke up feeling terrible. No I was not hungover. I really didn't drink much.

All I wanted for lunch was chicken noodle soup from Panera. My amazing husband didn't even question me and came back not only with my soup, but these as well:

I'm a pretty lucky girl.

I have more pictures on my camera from this weekend, but I don't feel like getting them right now. I'm just being honest. I don't feel like doing much of anything. Instead, I'll just post them tomorrow. I had some pretty cute outfits on Saturday and I don't want them to go to waste :)

I hope you have a wonderful Monday and you don't feel like I do right now. I don't wish this upon anyone. Don't forget to link up!

Until next time...
With love and God bless,
