Now don't be fooled, this Steelers shirt is just a facade. This got me in the door safely. We all know where my heart lies.
Within minutes of being there the Steelers shirt was gone. All I needed was one other Packers fan to be brave and I got my wish! I did however get cornered in the bathroom by a girl larger than me. She asked if I was born in Wisconsin or something. I said yes of course and made up this story about how my dad's family still lives there and that I can't abandon my roots. She left me alone after that :) Here are a few more pictures:
Sorry I couldn't get the last two to rotate! They're rotated the other way in my computer...weird. Still cute pics though!
At halftime the four of us headed back to my street since our neighbor invited us over! They were so much fun and now I know 2 different neighbors! I'm expanding my horizons and number of acquaintances in Pittsburgh. I feel like JP and I will make this feel more like home in no time!
I am so so happy that the Packers won. A few weeks ago, JP and I had a heated debate on who was a better QB, Aaron Rodgers or Big Ben. It's safe to say that my point was proven and I officially won the argument.
This past weekend was absolutely fantastic minus the quick trip to the emergency vet when Maggie ate a bit of towel! What a scare, but she's all better now and is a healthy, growing girl! I'm in Houston for a sales conference for the rest of the week. More posts to come soon about my fun trip and I have more pictures of the house! Get excited!
With love and God bless,
Amy, JP and Maggie
